You can choose where your WSUS server receives the updates from; from Microsoft Update, or from another upstream WSUS server.
Updates are downloaded according to the Windows Update schedule on the server. You can then choose when to distribute the updates for installation on your computers.
From the left-hand pane, expand 
Software, and then expand 
Windows Updates.
From the left-hand pane, choose the WSUS server.
From the right-hand pane, click the Settings button.
On the Update Source tab, select 'Synchronise from Microsoft Update'.
Click OK.
