Specifying when updates are installed on computers

You can specify when approved updates are distributed to the computers on your network for installation. This can be daily or on a selected day of the week. You can also specify the time the distribution will start.

To specify when updates are installed on computers

  1. From the left-hand pane, expand Software, and then expand Windows Updates.

  2. From the left-hand pane, choose the WSUS server.

  3. From the right-hand pane, click the Settings button.

  4. Choose the Scheduling tab.

  5. Under Installation Schedule:

  6. From the drop-down list, select a day of the week.

  7. Specify a start time.

  1. Click OK.
