Users > Managing user properties > Limit the user's server disk space
Users are allocated disk space on a server for their home folder. You can set a disk quota to limit the amount of server disk space a user is allocated.
From the Server tab, you can view server space and resources for your users, and assess what changes you may need to make to your servers and the distribution of users on them. For example, you might want to move users or user accounts to a different server if one server disk is over-subscribed.
Each server will reserve 10% of its disk space in a buffer to minimise the likelihood that the disk will become too full. When a disk becomes full, users will experience difficulties manipulating folders and large files.
From the left-hand pane, expand Users and choose All Users.
From the right-hand pane, right-click the user and, from the menu, choose Properties.
Choose the Disk Usage tab.
In the Disk space section:
To allow the user unlimited disk space, clear the 'Limit the server ...' box.
To limit the user's disk space, tick the 'Limit the server...' box. This enables you to specify the size (and units) for:
The user's set disk space.
The level of disk quota used at which the user will receive a warning.
Click OK.
