Renaming a policy

To rename a policy

From the left-hand pane, expand Registry Policies, and then expand either Computer Policies or User Policies. You may need to expand folders in the left-hand pane to display the name of the policy.
From the left-hand pane, right-click the policy and from the menu, choose Rename.
Type a new name.
Click OK.

Notes

You cannot rename the Standard and System Administrator user policies, nor the Shared Desktop computer policy.
To rename a selected policy, you can also choose in the toolbar or, from the File menu, choose Rename.
