Withdrawing a package from use

When you withdraw a package from use, it is uninstalled from every computer where it is currently assigned. This process can take a long time, depending on the number of computers in your establishment.

You can check the progress of the task on the package assignment overview.

To withdraw a package from use

  1. From the left-hand pane, expand Picture of the Software icon Software, then expand Picture of the Packages & Products icon Packages & Products and choose All Packages.

  2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the package and from the menu, choose Withdraw from Use.

Notes

  • If the process fails to complete, this might be because some computers are switched off or disconnected from the network. To ensure the package is uninstalled from all computers, reconnect and switch on the computers.

  • If the package displays "Uninstallation Failed" in the assignment overview for one or more computers, you might have to uninstall the package manually.
