Can't Find It - Our online librarian service

Have you ever had the experience of not finding what you're looking for in our Knowledge Library? If yes, we are here to help you out with our Can't Find It service. This service will help you locate technical information in our Knowledge Library.


When should you use the service?

Any time you can't find the information you are looking for! You can log a Can't Find It query when:

  • You get zero search results.
  • You are not sure where to search.

Why should you use the service?

  • It's quick - We respond to all your Can't Find It queries (logged within our service window) on the same day. 
  • It's free - This is a free service. You don't need a contract for using this service.
  • It's simple - You just need to have an RM website login. You will not be taken through an endless questionnaire!

How do we help you?

An online librarian will respond to your request by finding the information you are looking for. If the information is not available in our Knowledge Library, we will add it to a list of articles to be authored. We can help you by:

  • Sending you the articles relevant to your query.
  • Advising you of a better, easier way of finding articles.
  • Redirecting you to the relevant departments within RM who can help you out.
  • Introducing you to the new/useful features of the Knowledge Library.

Note: Please ensure that you have logged on to the RM Support website (www.rm.com/support) before you search in the Knowledge Library, so that you are able to access the relevant articles.


How fast can you get a reply?

Every query received within the service window will be responded to on the same day. If the query is received outside the service window, we will respond on the next working day.

How do you log a Can't Find It query?

  1. Log on to the RM support website.
  2. Click the Knowledge Library link.
  3. After you have performed your initial search, you will find the Can't Find It link on the left-hand side of the screen. Click the link.
  4. You will be asked to fill-in two fields:
    • What were you looking for? - Specify the information/article you are looking for, e .g. drivers for my PC with serial number WO12345678.
    • Where did you expect to find it? - Specify the area within the Knowledge Library that you were searching, e.g. My Computer, Taxonomy, RM website, etc.
  5. Click Submit.
