RM Unify - Launch Pad display issues when accessing via Smoothwall or other proxy\filtering server

Symptoms

When you log on to RM Unify you find that the Launch Pad and other areas of the user interface do not display properly and are missing the expected images. See example image below.

Cause

You may have a proxy server or Internet filtering solution, such as Smoothwall, on your network which is blocking RM Unify access to the required URLs.


Procedure

If you are experiencing issues displaying some images within RM Unify, please ensure that the following are not being blocked on your network:

  • https://rmunifylive01asset.blob.core.windows.net
  • https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/font-awesome/4.4.0/css/font-awesome.min.css
