Import Wizard: Source File window

As the start of the Import Wizard, this window enables you to:

• Select the source file you want to import.

• Choose formatting information for the data you want to import.

• Preview the data before you import it.

To select the source file:

The Data Preview section displays a preview of the data to be imported so that you can amend the choices you make below before you start the import.

1. Type the name of the file to import, or use the Browse button the locate the file to be imported.

2. Select a delimiter character for the imported data. You can select the Tab character, or specify your own single character.

3. To signify that the imported data contains a header row, tick the box.

4. Optionally, change your choices until the imported data matches your requirements.

5. Click Next to continue.
