Published Date : 30 Jan 2019   Last Updated : 30 Jan 2019   Content Ref: TEC6636666

On 1 February 2019, a number of DNS software providers will make a change to their software to help improve its security, performance and stability.

RM hosted domains and DNS resolvers have been checked to ensure that they will not be affected by this change.

If you use a third party for DNS hosting we recommend that you confirm if your domain will be affected. You can do so using this tool or by contacting your DNS hosting provider directly:

If you use third party DNS resolvers, the change could impact your ability to access Internet domains that are no longer compatible with your provider's software. If you experience any issues with third party services please retest using the RM provided DNS resolvers.

Further information on this change can be found in the following links:

If you have any queries or concerns please contact the service desk.
