Explains why you may see a "Sorry but an unexpected error occurred" error message when viewing the 'Deleted users' list of the RM Unify Management Console.
Symptoms
You have navigated to the 'Deleted users' page within the RM Unify Management Console and while attempting to hard-delete a user (or users), you see an error message below:
"Sorry but an unexpected error occurred while processing your request. Please try again."
Despite trying again, the error persists. This error may also be seen when simply loading subsequent pages using the 'next' button.
Cause
This issue has been seen when one or more of the establishment's soft-deleted users are missing certain attributes, which causes the code within the page to fail.
Procedure
It may be possible to use the 'data source' drop-down field on the 'Delete users' page to return a subset of the users and avoid the problematic account or account causing the error, for example, by selecting the 'users from MIS' or 'users from AD' options.
Possible Issues
If you continue to see the error and are unable to delete the required users, please log a ticket for RM Support to investigate further.
