Summary
Explains why the RM Unify admin may see the "Unexpected error" message and how to address this issue.
Symptoms
You are logged in to the RM Unify Management Console and viewing the Link users page. You have RM Unify user accounts listed within the section titled 'User not matched to an MIS record' and you wish to mark them as 'User not in MIS'. However, when you attempt to save your selection, you see the following error:
"Sorry but an unexpected error occurred while retrieving your establishment's users and MIS records. Please refresh the page to try again".
Refreshing the page and trying again does not resolve the issue.
Cause
This issue has been seen to occur when the RM Unify account has previously been linked to an MIS record that has since been deleted. In certain situations, the db is not fully updated and RM Unify treats the account as still being linked (to a non-existent record).
Procedure
Please log a support ticket with RM Support so that we can correct the affected users.
Once the users have been corrected, you will be able to continue with the MIS linking process (please see TEC7674490 in the Other Useful Articles section below).
