Explains why the RM Unify Network Provisioning Test Tool reports an error "The performance of the Active Directory is slowing which is preventing the creation of new Users. You will need to increase the in RoleOURoots.xml."
Symptoms
You are running the RM Unify Network Provisioning Test Tool and the test users fail to create with the following error:
"PRIMARYTSAFAILEDPROCESSING: User: <username>. The performance of the Active Directory is slowing which is preventing the creation of new Users. You will need to increase the <MaxSmartDelayInSeconds> in RoleOURoots.xml."
You may additionally notice that the test accounts (RMTestStudent, RMTestNonTeach and RMTestTeach) have been created in AD but are missing values from one or more key attributes.
Cause
This can occur when the RM Unify Network Agent tries to provision test users to a child AD domain but you are actually signed in with an administrator account on the parent domain or a different child domain.
Requirements
Run the RM Unify Network Provisioning Test Tool while signed in with an administrator account on the child domain.
