"You have signed out of RM Unify" page displayed on opening Chrome
Published Date : 08 Nov 2021   Last Updated : 04 Oct 2024   Content Ref: TEC8220511

Symptoms

On opening a Google Chrome browser, you are immediately taken to an RM Unify "You have signed out of RM Unify" error page with URL: https://sts.platform.rmunify.com/Account/LogOut, even though you have not tried to sign in or sign out of RM Unify in the same browser session.

Cause

This can occur when the Chrome browser settings for 'On startup' have been configured to 'Continue where you left off' and where the last action completed by the user in the previous browser session was to log out of RM Unify.

Procedure

Change Chrome 'On startup' settings
  1. In the Chrome browser, browse to chrome://settings/onStartup.
  2. Change the 'On startup' settings to either 'Open the New Tab page' or 'Open a specific page or set of pages'.
