Symptoms
When you launch the RM Unify AD Sync Config Tool, the error below is displayed:
'"RM.Networks.IdentityManagement.ConfigTool has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."
The following is also true:
User and password changes are not being synchronised to RM Unify.
The RM Unify AD Sync service is running and can be stopped and started without error.

Cause
This can occur when anti-virus software has quarantined, deleted or otherwise modified one or more .dlls used by RM Unify AD Sync. The .dlls are stored in C:\Program Files (x86)\RM\RM Unify AD Sync.
Procedure
Add C:\Program Files (x86)\RM\RM Unify AD Sync\ to the exclusions list of your anti-virus software.
Check your anti-virus console for recent events or alerts in case a file used by RM Unify AD Sync has been quarantined or modified.
If necessary, follow your established procedure for restoring the affected file.
