Symptoms

You are a member of one or more Microsoft 365 (M365) groups and you want to directly link to these groups from your RM Unify Launch Pad.


Requirements

  • RM Unify Premium subscription
  • RM Unify is federated to a Microsoft 365 domain
  • Create a personal tile for your Microsoft 365 group


Procedure

Find the URL of the M365 group
  1. Sign in to RM Unify.
  2. Click the Microsoft 365 Mail tile.
  3. From Groups, click the desired Microsoft 365 group to access its mailbox.
  4. From the Microsoft 365 group's mailbox, click the ellipsis (three dots) and select Site.
  5. In the browser address bar, copy and paste the URL to a temporary location e.g. https://schoola.sharepoint.com/sites/7.8234321.2018/SitePages/Home.aspx

Create the personal tile
  1. From the RM Unify Launch Pad, click My Launch Pad.
  2. Click Add and select the Personal tile.
  3. In Title, add a title.
  4. In address, paste the URL you copied in the procedure above.
  5. Click Check URL.
  6. Click Generate Thumbnail or Upload Image to create an image for your tile.
  7. Ensure 'Use this Microsoft 365 smart link' box is ticked.
  8. Click OK.
