How to uninstall RM Unify Password Filter as a different administrator
Locate the original RM Unify Password Filter MSI appropriate for your server version. This will be RM Unify Password Filter 64bit.msi or RM Unify Password Filter 32bit.msi. You may already have the file on your server, otherwise it can be downloaded from the Download section below.
Log on to the DC as a domain administrator user.
Double-click the appropriate MSI and complete the InstallShield wizard.
Reboot the server at the end of the installation as prompted.
Log on as the same user in step 2 and open 'Programs and Features'. RM Password Filter will now show in 'Programs and Features'. The version will be 1.0.39.0.
Click RM Password Filter and click Uninstall.
On completion of the wizard, reboot the server to complete the uninstallation.
Repeat this on each DC that requires removal of the existing installation of RM Unify Password Filter.
Note: After the reboot in step 7, you will still have the C:\Program Files\RM\RM Password Filter folder. This is an expected behaviour.
