Summary	Explains why the year of entry (YOE) shown in the RM Unify AD Sync Configuration tool does not reflect the actual YOE for the students.

Symptoms

In the Community Connect® 4 (CC4) RM Management Console (RMMC), your students have been set with a year of entry (YOE), e.g. 2018. When you see the user listed in the RM Unify AD Sync Configuration tool you see a different year in the YOE column of the student, e.g. 2019.

Procedure

This is by design. The YOE displayed in the RM Unify AD Sync Configuration tool depends on the YOE setting you applied in Service, Settings. This applies an offset value to each YOE uploaded to ensure students appear in the correct year group in RM Unify and are automatically moved up a year group with each new academic year.
