How do I create an establishment tile?
As a Super admin user or as a staff user with the Launch Pad admin right, you can create an establishment tile and place it on a Role specific Launch Pad, or Pads. From the App Library, click Add Tile.

Who can delete an establishment tile?
Super admin users and Launch Pad admins can delete any establishment tile.

Can you have tiles with duplicate titles?
Yes.

Can users add URLs that don't resolve? For example, can they create a tile for an internal address or website that is not yet live?
Yes, there is a Check URL link on the form to check the URL, but this only tests whether the address is accessible at the time. It does not prevent the tile from being created.

Can you create tiles that point to 'local' online resources hosted on your school's network, e.g. Espresso?
Yes, if the online resource can be accessed via a browser and has an http, https or ftp prefixed URL, you can create a tile for it. The Generate Thumbnail functionality will be disabled/inactive for this type of tile.

Can you edit a tile, for example to change the image used?
No, you cannot edit a tile. Currently, the way to achieve this is to delete the existing tile and then recreate it with the required image.

Are there any image file limitations/suggestions? 
Yes, if the image you choose is copyright protected, it is your responsibility to ensure you have permission to use it before uploading.

The uploaded image will be resized to fit the tile. An image with an approximate aspect ratio of 3 by 2 will provide the best result.

Maximum permitted file size is 50 KB. Permitted file types are restricted to PNG, JPEG and GIF.

What are the recommended tile image dimensions to avoiding image scaling (e.g. squashed images because the uploaded image doesn't have a 3 by 2 ratio)? 
202 x 153 pixels.

Is there a limit on the number of tiles that can be created?
RM Unify Premium customers can create unlimited tiles. Customers without Premium are limited to five tiles.
